This is my view in the mornings and it's a great way to greet the day.
Capturing the colors is a challenge. Hard to believe the colors can be so vivid unless you experience it. This piece has won a 1st and a best of Show in it's two appearances.
About Vallee Johnson
"For The Love of Creation!" I have been drawing and painting since I was about 3 (several decades ago). I sold my first painting at the age of 13. I've been dabbling with the camera for just about as long.. Art IS in the eye of the beholder. Traditionally a realist, I've enjoyed dabbling in various other styles as well. I have always been fascinated with wildlife and enjoy sculpting, painting or sketching animals of every kind. I have a Certificate Degree in Production Art, Associate Degree in Liberal Arts & Bachelor Degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. I've traveled to fourteen different countries and hope to visit many more. In Italy, I studied the works of the great Renaissance...
